Keep passion alive?

How do we remain passionate and feeling in such an apathetic world?

R.D.

Dear T.,

I don’t think the world doesn’t have feeling. I walk outside and I get hit by a wave of winds that have travelled further than me. I turn a corner and I see a tree reclaiming its roots’ ability to breathe where a government has attempted to suffocate them with cement. I look up and see time being carved out by the erosion of graffiti on the bridge. My kind of clock.

Try to wander for wonder.

What is feeling? This week I ran every morning for five days straight for the first time. My body oddly doesn’t feel as affected, but I know I couldn’t have been so open in those days of being had I not had that mental freedom to focus solely on terrain and safety in the mountains of Heidelberg before the sun had peaked. Keep time with your soul for your body’s sake. Your kind of clock.

And, don’t be stagnant: nothing in this world is this way.
